About

First and foremost, my help came from God, but I also had help from my sisters. My definition of sister is different from the traditional one. A sister to me can be your mother, aunt, cousin, friend's mother, anyone you want a sister to be. A sister is there to support you, hold you accountable, laugh when things aren't funny, be bothered with you even though they don't want to be, and let you know when you're loved even when you think you're not.
I taught, and I'm still teaching my daughters what sisterhood really means. Sam and Dana's relationship struggled growing up as kids. It wasn't until after countless broken crayons, hair pulls, and screaming matches that the two relationships finally started to get better. What triggered them? Clothes! I raised them on the mantra that "Sharing is caring!" While it took them a few years to fully grasp the concept, they got there.
Sisterhood is what Sammie and Dannie represent. Before opening our store, we as a family have volunteered and served in our community since my kids were old enough to help. Our mission is to establish a positive, supportive environment where people can feel motivated and inspired not just with their style but in life. I know what it means to struggle and feel like you don't have help. I wouldn't have gotten where I am today without all the sisters that have helped me along the way.
Sammie and Dannie is a family-owned vintage boutique in central Phoenix. Our store name came from my daughters, Sam and Dana. Our family values sustainability and we've become so passionate about it that while hunting for goods in 2012, we decided it was time to start sharing our treasures with the world. So come shop with us at Sammie and Dannie for vintage clothing, accessories, furniture, and home decor! We carry timeless pieces handpicked by us, sisters sharing treasures.
